Powerclub is a start-up electricity retailer disrupting the way Australians buy, sell and use electricity. Electricity is bought and sold on a state-based spot market where prices change every 30 minutes and Powerclub is the first retailer to offer its members direct access to these prices. Through greater knowledge and control, Powerclub's mission is to empower customers to make better choices about their electricity usage.The wholesale market can be subject to high price events, especially during times of significant demand such as a sweltering 40C summer afternoon. Powerclub have developed a patented model to protect against such events. Powerclub customers pay a fixed predicted wholesale price all year long to ensure consistent bills, and any volatility in the wholesale market is managed by the Powerbank. The Powerbank is a one-off deposit paid my members and acts as a buffer to smooth out the highs and lows of the wholesale energy market - covering the difference when prices are high and replenishing when energy prices are low - so you can pay a fixed rate per kWh. For the average customer using 13kWh per day this is about $200.

As Senior Analyst reporting to Director of Inventory and Logistics my role was to ensure efficient and cost effective movement of goods and accurate inventory management along the supply chain. Achievements include:> Directly involved in the successful planning and opening of seven new national stores and a new distribution centre in 2016 and 2017 including management of staff during on-site store fit-up.> Created the first MEC "Store Opening Model" which analysed data such as historical sales, regional market, store size and fixture capacity to propose optimal store layout of all departments, including packs, footwear, apparel and camping. Realised supply chain cost savings of >$0.7M through application of Store Opening Model.> Weekly and monthly analysis and reporting to COO and Director of Inventory and Logistics on supply chain KPI's, supplier KPI's, transportation planning, cash flow planning and inventory analysis. > Designed and implemented an automated Vendor Performance and Carrier Performance report which helped to identify issues in the supply chain which were addressed and resolved resulting in cost savings of $0.45M.

Gained significant experience in conducting risk analysis incorporating these risk profiles with the aim of identifying and mitigating such risks through implementation of controls. • Reporting and Regulatory Requirements: Weekly submission to Head Office in London of technical and logistical progress of current projects. Experience with quarterly reporting to option partners and annual technical reporting requirements for government bodies including regular presentations to senior management.• Contractor and Community Liaison: All projects include an element of liaising with contractors and communities to ensure projects expectations are communicated effectively and in a timely manner to all stakeholders. • Geological Interpretation and Resource Modelling: Actively involved in the planning and design for numerous exploration programmes including diamond and RC drilling campaigns. Experience in interpretation of data using software such as Geosoft, ArcGIS, ioGAS and Leapfrog.

I was employed at a copper-gold exploration operation south of Cloncurry in North West Queensland. During this time I gained experience in drilling, mapping and logging techniques for calc-silicate hosted copper-gold type mineralisation.
