I received my Masters in Counseling with a concentration in Multiculturalism and began my professional life as a University Career Counselor, assisting students from all walks of life and backgrounds with major and career decision-making along with interview and job search preparation. I have carried these skills over into my role as a recruiter, where I support candidates in matching career opportunities to their goals and motivations. I serve as Recruiting Business Partner to Hiring Leaders, leveraging my ability to provide data-driven insights and recommendations based on my knowledge and experience of Human Resource related topics including talent mapping, risk, legal compliance, compensation, and HR policies/procedures. I possess my CDR (Certified Diversity & Inclusion Recruiter Certification), and am passionate about bringing more diversity and inclusion to AWS, particularly to our technical roles. I plan and implement diversity-focused recruiting and branding events for the AWS Partner Organization, and lead training and enablement for recruiters and hiring managers on how to effectively source and support diverse populations throughout the interview process and beyond.
