I'm a software engineer with experience building and maintaining full stack applications with JavaScript, React.js, C#, and Ruby on Rails. Software engineering inspires me with the outstanding possibilities to collaborate and create technology to improve lives. I started exploring coding while working as an emergency room and critical-care nurse. I read HTML, CSS, and JavaScript books while completing online courses through Udemy. Through learning, building projects, and developing a website for a startup company, I discovered I loved the critical thinking and problem solving aspect of developing applications. I completed a software engineering bootcamp at Flatiron School to solidify my understanding of building full stack applications.
