Anna pursued her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems at the University of Georgia with an emphasis in information security. Her interest with data and problem-solving stems from having an analytical mind and passion to communicate those data across different audiences as well as striving to empower women and minorities in a male dominated business world. As a first-generation college student, Anna speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.In her past role in Fiserv as a 2021 Summer Intern working with the Marketing Analytics team, Anna conducted daily tasks in updating the daily report, compiling quarterly reports, assisting her team members and conducting necessary work in order to derive hindsight into insight and into foresight that will help management make critical business decisions. She enjoys deriving meanings from seemingly ambiguous data into discernible patterns and insights.In college, Anna is a member, leader, and representative for the Alpha Chapter of Alpha Sigma Rho Sorority. Alpha Sigma Rho is the first Asian-interest sorority established in the state of Georgia with a mission to spread Asian-awareness and embraces members from all races, ethnicities, and background. It is a philanthropy-based sorority where members are committed to raising money to its core philanthropy, National Ovarian Cancer Coalition and One Sky Foundation, and volunteer in Boys and Girls club as well as participate in adopt-a-highway. As a member of the executive board, Anna worked rigorously with her team to find solutions to solve problems caused by the pandemic and current sociopolitical landscape. She has learned throughout her academic career to be agile and adaptable, working with people from different backgrounds as well as responding to difficult situations.Upon graduation, Anna plans on working in a creative team environment, where she can pursue a career in data analytics field thus further honing in her analytical skills and reach expertise in SQL, Java, and project management. Aside from her jobs, Anna is a collector of plants and enjoys yoga and meditation. She believes in keeping her mind clear and grounded to focus on what is truly important.
