I helped support the Editorial department of six nationally distributed magazines and contribute to the Internet Media Group in a variety of ways, including copyediting and proofreading print magazine copy, writing and editing web copy, writing and copyediting e-newsletters, uploading and managing web content with CMS (photos, articles, video links, features, recipes, polls, quizzes, blogs, etc.), testing links in all e-newsletters to ensure a positive client experience, creating online client surveys and disseminating results to team leads, managing client profiles and directory, tracking site page views, implementing SEO practices, uploading product testing photos/info/reviews to website, choosing and updating new home page content each week, and working cooperatively with multiple editors and team leads across various departments (Art, Marketing, Member Services, Internet, Editorial) to meet deadlines while providing a quality client experience.

I worked as Production Manager of the university newspaper, The Metropolitan, which included the following: doing all layout and design in Adobe InDesign CS2, choosing photos, writing articles, collaborating with editors and authors, interacting with the printer, doing online proofing, working with the Web site manager, and ensuring the timely delivery of a quality product.
