I am a former Middle School Social Studies teacher who is well-rounded in skills. I have worked in retail, food and beverage service, and early education. I have proven in the past that I commit myself to excellence in everything that I do. I graduated high school Magna Cum Laude with a 3.98 GPA, and college with Summa Cum Laude and a 3.96 GPA. I also met my growth goals each year that I was a teacher, and continue to strive for excellence as a barista by trying to learn a new skill each week. As an educator, I further developed my strong interpersonal and communication skills, not only with students, but with colleagues, administrators, and parents as well. I strengthened my organization skills and my abilities to thrive in an environment that changes daily. I maintained my ability to go into each day with a positive outlook and a cheery disposition.In my work as a Barista I have further strengthened my customer service skills and my ability to make people feel comfortable and at ease. I continue to grow my skills in reading body language and listening critically. I have developed several skills through past job experiences that I carry on with me to the next. I look forward to continuing to be a lifelong learner and helping others reach their full potential as well.
