I moved from Copenhagen, NY to Toledo, Ohio to study Cosmetic Science and Formulation Design in hopes of working for a sustainable beauty company one day. I have a variety of experience in communications, leadership, and research.Career Highlights:- My first Cosmetic Science Project focuses on sustainable ingredients in lipsticks and moisturizers. The Summer Research and Creative Activities Program (USR-CAP) through Office of Undergraduate Research gave me the opportunity to present to people outside my major.- As President of the UToledo Cosmetic Chemist Society, I launched a new meeting format called Science, Sips, and Snacks. These meetings comprise of an open discussion about beauty topics in the media. This gives students the opportunity to talk about the evolving industry and trends in the digital the world. - In my role as Lead Communications Intern, I established the Jesup Scott Honors College LinkedIn page and grown it's engagement in the last year. Additionally, I led numerous social media campaigns as a 60th Anniversary Committee Member.
