Using LEAN Six Sigma methodologies, additional capacity was created to establish a permanent team, which grew following a successful strategic plan bid for increased labour resources to match predicted future volumes. • Conducted a Kaizen to increase auto-bagging capacity by 22%. In conjunction with the Engineering and IT departments, waste (overproduction, overprocessing, motion and waiting) was identified and reduced within workstation layout, associate over rotation and poor process management. • Led the largest ever driver hiring plan to increase pick capacity by 23%. Following a strategic plan highlighting a shortfall of 121 pickers for the projected volumes, I oversaw the Workforce Staffing hiring process and managed Associate allocation across the site.
