Participate in a professional development fellowship program focused on Detroit's revitalization. Work for a regional host company 4 days a week and spend Fridays with 30 Challenge Detroit fellows providing intellectual and creative capacity for local non-profits. Use design thinking to engage with stakeholders and community members in order to provide applicable and realistic solutions to challenges faced by partner non-profits. Work in teams gaining leadership experience as team members, design leads, and project managers. Provide formal presentations to non-profit partners, host companies and community members monthly.

Designer/Constructor for a composting toilet, surveyed and evaluated property, designed and proposed project to Life Monteverde, a model sustainable coffee farm in Monteverde, Costa Rica, constructed composting system, created educational posters for visitors.
