Legislative Affairs Program Specialist
In this position I assist with tracking and lobbying for DMAS's and the governor's positions on key bills relating to Medicaid during the General Assembly session. I along with my team conducted research on the bills, provided technical assistance to legislators throughout the legislative process, and then guided created a plan for the implementation of the bills passed during session so that DMAS could effectively carry out its core mission and values.
