In my role as an intern, I play a vital role in researching and understanding the intricacies of the 340B program. ◊ Conduct a trend analysis over specific time periods to identify any fluctuations or patterns in Medicaid and Charity Care reimbursement.◊ Perform quantitative analysis for the hospital revenue cycle by focusing on the reimbursement data before and after the implementation of Sage Health.◊ Conduct and present in-depth research on 340B program dynamics and current events to the team.

SafeKids Worldwide is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing childhood injuries by raising awareness about child safety issues, advocating for evidence-based policies, and providing educational resources and programs to empower parents, caregivers, and communities to keep children safe from preventable injuries. As a research intern, I analyzed coded survey data and conducted a qualitative analysis of over 400 SafeKids coalitions throughout the U.S. Additionally, I conducted comprehensive background research and literature review on a variety of injury risk areas, both domestically and internationally. My contribution culminated in the completion of nine injury fact sheets, as well as the write-up of the coalition survey report and the network assessment report.◊ Analyzed coded survey data and presented findings to Research Department◊ Conducted a qualitative analysis of SafeKids coalitions throughout the U.S.◊ Evaluated descriptive analyses and updated fact sheets for SafeKids priority risk areas using fatal and nonfatal injury◊ Conducted background research and literature searches on a variety of injury risk areas, both for the U.S. and internationally
