I'm an interdisciplinary professional with a multinational background and a drive to use curiosity to create sustainable systems. Over the past 5 years in the NGO sector, I have focused on building organizational knowledge and coordinating a small but powerful multidisciplinary team in Research, Advocacy, and Solutions. At the Plastic Soup Foundation (PSF), I participated in and led initiatives to tackle plastic pollution at all levels, from material extraction to consumption and eventually disposal and leakage into the environment. I also advocated for policy change and provided solutions from both social and legal perspectives. I participated in UN-level dialogues and policymaking sessions and served on a sounding board group on environmental policy for the Dutch Government.On the personal side, I enjoy climbing and learning new things from people and the built environment. In my free time, I pursue my interest in architecture through my passion project @AmsterdamseSchoolDoors.
