When I was twenty-two years old, I wanted two things:1. To be understood.2. For people to think I was good at my job.As a first time founder, I felt like an impostor—and it showed. I struggled to communicate my value in a way that my colleagues and potential investors could understand. I realized I needed to clarify my message and use social media as a tool to help me build my personal brand. This would help me look more credible, I thought. So I got to work.I updated my social media profiles, built a personal website, and began sharing my story online. The more content I shared, the more confident I became. And the more confident I became, the more credible I appeared.Over time I was able to build an engaged audience across multiple platforms. But I had to cancel out all of these negative thoughts, first:“Will people think I'm trying to be an "influencer" if I start posting on Instagram every day?”“People don't care what I have to say on LinkedIn.”“I don’t like how I look in front of the camera.”Too many people let fear get in the way of them building their personal brand and sharing content online. That’s where I come in.I help people build their personal brand. My work has been featured on Entrepreneur, Foundr, The Startup, The Ascent and Girlboss. I’ve spoken at conferences like Social Media Week and frequently interview industry experts on The Personal Branding Podcast.Everyone has a unique story they are called to share. Do you know what yours is and how to communicate it to the world? I believe it takes a Personal Brand Strategist to help you uncover and convey it in a way that’s powerful, imaginative and highly-effective.Send me an email!hello@annavatuone.comannavatuone.com
