I started as Philanthropy Manager at the National Trust in May 2024. I'm based at the Head Office in Swindon. From January 2023 until April 2024 I was Head of Fundraising at The Barn Theatre, Cirencester, that won The Stage's award for Best Fringe Theatre in 2019 and in 2022 won two awards from the Off West End Awards for its digital productions. Over the last 10 years I have run Glow Fundraising offering my specialisms in Major Gifts, Trusts and Foundations and Capital Campaigns to arts charities. Over this time I worked as Interim Director of Development at the Tricycle Theatre (now Kiln Theatre), Interim Director of Development at the Bush Theatre, and have worked for Eclipse Theatre Company, Chickenshed, Hoxton Hall, Sadler's Wells, Frantic Assembly and Fevered Sleep. Most recently I finished a contract as Trusts Manager at The BRIT School.In 2013-2014 I was Director of Development for Youth Music Theatre UK, raising a total of £1.2 million. From 2003-2013 I was Head of Trusts at the National Theatre, raising £19.2m for the National Theatre Future £80m capital campaign. I also oversaw the £400,000 - £500,000 Trusts annual revenue target through managing the Trust Development Manager. I am on the Board of the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre. I was a Trustee at the Yard Theatre in Hackney Wick, at Tonic Theatre that seeks gender equality in the theatre industry and was also the Chair of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising's Cultural Sector Network. I am a qualified professional with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising's Diploma in Fundraising Management. I also have training in evaluation and capital fundraising. I also speak at conferences. Past presentations include the Institute of Fundraising's National Convention in July 2017.
