Reporting to the Financial Controller with the responsibility to review the monthly management accounts ensuring they are delivered in an accurate and timely fashion.Full responsibility for both the B/S and P&L. Team management of 6 finance professionals including accounting, and compliance.Ensure US GAAP and local GAAP compliance by following robust accounting procedures.Business Partner to company departments working closely with Business controllers to ensure budget requirements were attained.Manage month, quarter and year end processes.Responsibility for preparation and completion of statutory accounts in local GAAP.Ensure company accounts are maintained to audit standard and act as a liaison with internal and external auditors.

Planning and completing audit assignment to Spanish /IFRS/US GAAP in clients from industries in manufacturing, construction, healthcare and retail trade companies.Performing audits to strict deadlines, reporting to audit manager or partner. Identifying and communicating findings for internal control weaknesses and deficiencies, non-compliance with regulations, policies and procedures and improvements in economies and efficiencies. Preparation of statutory financial statements.Coaching, supervising, coordinating and motivating staff in the completion of audits. Obtain training and development in new accounting issues and auditing approaches, such as changes in accounting standards, US GAAP, IFRS’s, local Spanish GAAP and in SOX.
