I have a deep passion for aviation and I have put in much effort to fuel my experience. In addition to undergoing my course(Aerospace Engineering) in Temasek Polytechnic, I pursued an independent Private Pilot License in Australia during my semester breaks. It took me 2 months 2 weeks in total to complete my flying course, over the duration of two semester breaks. Even after graduating, I went back regularly to keep my license current and gain more flying hours, which has amounted to 74.7hrs. After graduating from Temasek Polytechnic, I immediately set myself on a pursuit of a military career. After completing BMT and OCS training, I was officially enrolled into the RSAF and began my UAV Pilot training. After months of ground school and simulation flights, I had to leave due to performance reasons. I have learnt much about leadership, professionalism and discipline from my time in the military, most of all, teamwork. I became more adaptable and understood more on how to work with people of all types of difference backgrounds. Despite these setbacks, my passion for aviation has not wavered and I am continuously looking to broaden my career by venturing into the engineering sector, which is equally my passion as piloting an aircraft. I have undergone workshop training under Lufthansa and am experienced in aircraft maintenance from my 6-month internship in Bombardier Aerospace Services Singapore. I enjoy engineering and aircraft maintenance work, and I pride myself in learning new skills efficiently. I believe I will be able to excel given the right opportunity!
