Ann is a native to the Holland/Zeeland area and has worn many hats thru the years bringing a broad base of experience in marketing, project development, various sales, event development and execution, along with volunteer and intern management. Ann is a past business owner, has freelanced marketing consulting services, and has spearheaded various planning committees, leadership teams, and multiple community leadership and award selection committees. Ann currently spends free time volunteering for various non-profits, including Harbor Humane Society, Mosaic Counseling, Hospice of Holland, and Holland/Zeeland Area Women Who Care. Mosaic Counseling (formerly TCM Counseling) offers a safe haven to those in need of mental health services, and quickly. Reporting to and in partnership with the Executive Director, Ann spearheads general organizational development efforts, facilitates and grows the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), creates and implements annual strategic fundraising efforts, while assisting with event program development and planning of special events. All done with a smile and passion to create partnerships that will make a lasting impact.

Starting out in 1999 at the Zeeland Chamber of Commerce, Ann worked with member and sponsorship sales, office operations, accounting, event planning, Ambassador Committee facilitator, overall event planner for Zeeland's Annual Pumpkinfest Festival, along with other community annual activities. In 2012, The Zeeland Chamber of Commerce and Holland Chamber of Commerce merged, becoming the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce. Wearing many hats through the years, Ann finished her work at the Chamber with a broad base of experience in program development, management and implementation of the Chamber's Membership Sales, Engagement and Retention Plan. Ann worked directly with the total member experience starting with the coordination of the on-boarding of new members, connecting personally with less active members, and also serving as an information source and resource to all members. Additionally, Ann utilized extensive knowledge working with membership benefits, facilitating and participating in multiple leadership/awards committees, event planning, event and premiere sponsorship opportunities, affinity benefits programs etc. to provide and ensure a high level of member satisfaction.

Spearheaded all school fundraisers including acquiring needed business donations and contributions. Revamped and streamlined committee goals while managing volunteers and delegating event tasks.

Implemented and managed all HR tasks including hiring, training and management of staff. Performed all banking tasks, along with negotiation of costs/purchasing of supplies. Oversaw and executed all machine maintenance while supervising day-to-day operations.
