Ann is owner and co-founder of the Boland Group (TBG), a woman-owned business enterprise (WBE) and executive search firm conducting retained searches for select non-profit clients, recruiting C-Level & VP Level execs for mission-driven organizations. Specialize in recruiting CEOs for Boards of Directors of community-based mission driven nonprofits working to provide access to health, financial stability and economic opportunity. Clients served including community health nonprofits, faith-based institutions, community development financial institutions and community nonprofits that serve the common good, e.g. St. Vincent de Paul, Vocational Rehab for Individuals with Intellectual Development & Disabilities, United Way, YMCA, Big Brothers/Sisters, Boys/Girls Clubs, etc. Clients served include Community-centric, Mission Driven Non Profits e.g. Community Health Centers, including FQHCs, CMHCs and CCBHCs, and Community Development Corporations, e.g. Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), United Ways, YMCAs, Big Brothers/Sisters, Junior Achievement, etc. Special expertise in racially equitable recruiting focused on leaders who reflect the communities served. Prior to starting her own search firm, Ann served as CAO and EVP HR of a high tech and eLearning startup Previously, as an Executive Director with the Global Technology and Global Healthcare practices of a top five global retained executive search firm, Ann co-founded the firm’s Global Professional Services practice. Ann’s first executive search experience was being recruited herself, as the first female direct admit consulting partner of a “big 4” firm. She was recruited out of a role as EVP and CIO of an organization that had been an IBM Client who had asked her to leave IBM and come in house to help integrate three recently merged organizations.
