Provide biometric screening to worksites. Testing includes cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index and bone density screening. Provide feedback and education on screening results including prevention advice on cardiovascular risk reduction.

Review and approve menus to insure they meet nutritional and food safety standards and are acceptable to Meals on Wheels clients and staff.Provide medical nutrition therapy to Meals on Wheels clients.

Facilitated lifestyle behavior change with participants enrolled in Staywell's telephone based programs. Coached participants in programs including: stress management,nutrition,back care,weight management and disease management. Interviewed participants to determine their readiness to change.

Key member of the department's Nutrition,Exercise and Tobacco Initiative for the prevention of chronic diseases. Provide medical nutrition therapy at community clinics in Ramsey County. Developed nutrition education strategies,curricula and materials. Supervised 8-12 interns per year in a 240 hour community nutrition experience for University of Minnesota Dietetic Internship for graduate students; appointment as Clinical Instructor for U of M.
