Anne has a long held passion for the history and arts of New Zealand. The passion for working in this sector was ignited in the late 90's when she took on the role of Manager Support Services for the Libraries and Museum Unit for the City of Hamilton. Since then she has gone on to work in several roles in the Museum sector in New Zealand, including roles at Waikato Museum and as the Director of National Services for Te Papa Tongarewa. Anne loves to find creative ways to connect local communities and visitors with New Zealand's culture and heritage. Anne enjoys working in professional, creative and community/visitor focused roles, which challenge her to think laterally, and utilise her strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills. Anne secured a place at the 2019 Oxford Cultural Leaders Programme. The residential executive leadership programme is designed for dynamic and reflective leaders who want to challenge and redefine their identity as a leader and their vision for their organisation at a time of great challenge and complexity for the sector.
