**Associates Insurance Agency is a full-service local insurance agency and one of the largest national commercial producers for both Auto Owners Insurance and FCCI. We service the contractor and construction industries in the greater Tampa Bay area to mitigate their risk and reward their talent** I created and manage the Employee Benefits Department and have developed our service model specific to industries we target (contractors, service industry – electricians, HVAC, plumbing, architects, engineering firms). We offer creative solutions to maximize the value of the employee benefit package to employees and the employer. Our open enrollment meetings often take place at 6 am at a jobsite, or in a warehouse, where Benefit Specialists meet one on one with employees (bi-lingual if required) to ensure they understand the value of their benefits and capture their elections electronically. That personalized service continues throughout the year to support new hires. I provide business owners with guidance and consultation relative to the regulations and employ strategies to ensure company’s compliance with the law. We also educate CFO, HR Director, and Administrators on applicable requirements and offer solutions to track and manage adherence. Additionally, we provide HR support, employee training and employee handbook creation. We also manage COBRA, Cafeteria Plans, and Flexible Spending Accounts; and host seminars to present clients and prospects with updates to ACA, ERISA, Wellness, etc.

I created plans to develop new territories, grow existing markets, and introduce new engineering solutions. Using consultative selling skills, I built partnerships with key accounts while building industry awareness of our products through trade shows, newsletters, project demonstrations, etc. I was often called upon to make technical presentations to groups of as many as 500.
