I create and facilitate engaging, interactive employee and leadership workshops covering a wide range of wellness topics: from strategies for coping with stress and building resilience to identifying your personal values.

Responsible for the creation of quality content for external presentations, management of health promotion services for select client accounts, and assistance in project management for health promotion initiatives. Primary tasks included consulting with clients about their organizational wellness needs and creating customized content for employee and leadership workshops to best meet those needs. While in this role, I was beyond honoured to receive The Improving Life Hero Award, Homewood Health's top employee award.

Delivered award-winning writing, and editing, marketing, and videography services to promote community, client, and employee engagement in both the corporate and non-profit sectors:• Created content for a global engineering firm's annual report that went on to win Gold at a League of American Communication Professionals' international competition• Engaged in media relations for a luxury olive oil producer, leading to interviews with CBC and Toronto Star, and a 30 per cent increase in top line revenue for the company• Created and delivered business writing workshops for the Guelph Community Health Centre and for the curriculum of City of Guelph’s entrepreneurial support centre • Co-created an event exploring the merits of expanding Ontario’s Greenbelt, which attracted over 80 stakeholders, as well as local and provincial politicians and television media• Produced, directed, and edited multiple videos for both non-profit and corporate clients

Developed and implemented occupational health and safety surveys at federal workplaces, interpreted data from those surveys, and made high-impact recommendations. Customized and delivered health education programs to federal employees. Worked with First Nations communities across Ontario to mitigate communicable disease.

Coordinated the public and environmental health program for the Eastern Arctic as a senior administrator and lead services responder addressing communicable disease control and environmental contamination. Responsible for hiring and supervising employees, writing regional and Territorial policy and job descriptions, and developing and presenting health education programs.
