As an experienced CEO with 25+ years of experience in a sector facing into significant reforms, operational cost pressures and increased regulatory scrutiny, I balance a deep understanding of the challenges of service provision in the community with commercial considerations. Throughout my career, I have developed an extensive knowledge of government and non-government service provision, the community sector and government-funded programs and services. As CEO of Achieve Australia, I have overseen the implementation of significant shifts in policy, funding models and models of service delivery, including the rise of person centred services, choice and control. Leveraging an early foundation in residential care and program delivery, in the community, I provide a powerful conduit between the Board room and the frontline. Combined with a deep network of industry peers and government stakeholders, and a personal motivation for improving the quality of services for our communities, I am well positioned to help organisations with advocating for, setting and operationalising positive change in the sector, in a sustainable way. Career highlights to date include leading the transformation of Achieve Australia in to a well-profiled, provider of choice for the government, demonstrating 20x growth in annual budgets over 15 years while leading a number of complex devolutions including Marsden Rehabilitation Centre and Crowle Home. I also worked with colleagues to establish Alliance20, a coalition founded to improve industry engagement with Government in relation to NDIS.
