I taught Chemistry and Chemistry for Art Conservation at a London college before moving to America in 1994. A former UK National Trampoline Team member, I helped establish and train coaches for the Washington State Trampoline program. After moving to Lopez Island, I founded the Lopez Leapers a competitive trampoline club for young Lopezians many of whom qualified for both the USA Regional and National USAG Championships. I was Lopez Pre-School President and an active volunteer at Lopez Island School weekly teaching geometry, calculus, and SAT practice. Living between Lopez and China, I was involved setting up a School for the Blind in Guizhou province, China, inside a new college, Guizhou Forerunner College built to provide affordable higher education for economically challenged minority Chinese students. In the college’s foundation year, I taught English and physical education. While living in Shanghai, I acted as a consultant for Realmax China on the use of AR in international schools and Universities. I am a co-founder of Reality8, an AR platform software company based in Washington State, USA. And was COO for Realmax Inc, the worldwide company for Realmax that designs, develops and manufactures the Realmax Qian/100 AR glasses. Reality8 provides AR platform software/hardware solutions for health, entertainment, training , and education verticals. I also worked for the University of Sunderland (UK) on their post-graduate international teaching certificate and masters in education course in Asia. I observed lessons and assessed teachers research work across international schools in China and Thailand. I graduated from University of Leeds, Greenwich University, American College of Education, and Tsinghua University (China) with degrees in Chemistry, Teaching, Education, and Chinese, and hold dual American and British nationality.
