As the Environmental Compliance Manager at Denver Water, I have over three years of experience in managing and communicating our environmental compliance program internally and externally. My mission is to ensure that we meet or exceed the state and federal regulations that help us to protect the environment and our water quality, while delivering safe and reliable water to our customers and stakeholders.I lead a team of professionals who manage the state permits held by Denver Water, covering various aspects such as water quality, stormwater, wetlands, wildlife, and cultural resources. We work collaboratively with other departments, agencies, and partners to coordinate our permitting and compliance activities, identify and mitigate potential impacts, and implement best practices and innovative solutions. I also have a strong background in environmental consulting, with over four years of experience as a project manager and technical leader on complex and multidisciplinary projects in various industries. I have a master's degree in ecology and a certificate in secondary education and teaching.
