I was responsible for the application of both traditional Prolonged Exposure Therapy treatment and Virtual Reality Exposure Treatment to study participants. I actively participated in the promotion and launch of the study. Dr. Reger, the principal investigator based in Tacoma. Washington, felt that my therapeutic style was not compatible with the necessary rigid compliance with the treatment protocol and ended my participation with the project.

I served as a school liaison, communicating with psychologists, educational consultants, and other professionals to explain the program and services offered by the school. I oversaw the counseling records and information regarding students and provided supervision of the maintenance, custody, and release of the confidential student records, including the use of BestNotes, the on line documentation service used by the school. I assisted in the rapid closure of the school, providing support and information to parents, employees, and outside professionals in the orderly return of students to their homes or to other therapeutic placements. The closure of the school resulted in the loss of my position.
