My studies, travels, and experiences, both in the United States and abroad, led me to Tulane University in New Orleans where I received a dual masters degree in Public Health, with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health, and Social Work, with a Global Certificate. I currently work at the Exchange Family Center as a Bilingual Family Therapist. Through various work and volunteer experiences for non-profit organizations and in the field of education, I have found a love of civil service. When confronted with the severe psychological and developmental struggles of undocumented immigrants in New Orleans, students in developing countries abroad, and with refugees from Burma, Iraq, and Africa in Austin, I found a passion for connecting, communicating, and expressing with diverse communities through a resiliency framework.Specialties: Creative Art, Education, Translation, Children and Adolescent Programming, Curricula Design, Peer Education, Health, Wellness, Yoga, Fitness, Program Management, Program Design
