I work alongside my husband, Paul, in a small business in Walkergate in Beverley selling mobility products and aids. We both enjoy the personal interaction with our customers and the satisfaction that we have been able to make a big difference to a person's quality of life with the products which we sell. I formerly worked alongside my husband for a Rescue and Recovery company. My skill base and knowledge gained whilst working for an SMEs have grown particularly bearing in mind what is considered to be a predominantly male orientated working environment. I pride myself that I was able to deal with anything and everything. I had many challenges along the way but I feel that it was a very good foundation for my future working life.
