my career with Hartford began in 1978 in the local claims office in Hartford CT as a claims processor, setting up files, typing checks, answering phones and progressed to Accident and Health Claims where I supervised a group of claim processors, on to joining the AARP program with time spent both selling and servicing our customer's auto and home policies, making a 1500mile move to assist with the start up of the OKC office in 1998 where we did a bit of everything, training, mentoring, coaching. I also spent a couple of years as a customer service manager before returning to an UW role - working with Product, Claims as well as developing our Operations partners as they sold and serviced auto and home business.
