Maputo

More than 20 years of experience in management of resources, personnel management, organizational development, strategic planning, budgeting and financial control. Results Based Management and performance contracts with staff is institutionalized.More than 16 years of experience as Country Director both in Humanitarian and Long Term Development. I have the overall responsibility for implementing policies and strategies as well as being responsible for all national staff and expatriates. I have the overall responsibility for the country programme, budget, accounting, fundraising and back donor reporting.Comprehensive experience in Change Management and Transformation processes of an organization. Since 2015 I have led the change management process in Plan International Mozambique including restructuring and organizational development. The changes aims at building a stronger house (competent staff, organizational setup, systems, strategic direction, resource mobilization) in order to deliver on the new Country Strategy 2016-2021. Plan International Mozambique has around 125 staff and a turnover of around 9 million EURO annually. During the 7 years as Country Director for IBIS I led the organizational development changes of IBIS Mozambique from a position of direct implementing (with around 100 IBIS local staff) to indirect implementation through local partners. IBIS Mozambique has today around 40 staff members and a turnover of around 35 million DKK out of which around half of the budget is successfully raised locally in Mozambique under my leadership. Key donors are SIDA, NORAD, EU and DANIDA. Further to this I led the initial phases of the Change management process in relation to the OXFAM - IBIS merger process. As country director for MS Kenya key deliverables in Change management were related to the implementation of a new Country strategy as well as the MS-Action Aid Merger process.

Mozambique
