I am a dedicated and highly organized Educational Specialist with local, state and international experience in teaching, training, and facilitating positive relationships with students, families, and other professionals. Having such a wide variety of experience allows me to easily acclimate to new environments and quickly learn new skills. When I was the Quality Management Coordinator/Specialist at MCCAOD, I was charged with the responsibility of identifying and rectifying the discrepancies in our billing procedures. Having absolutely no background or experience in insurance and billing, I independently researched the regulations and standards. I was then able to identify our billing discrepancies, create and present a successful corrective action plan to counseling staff.In 2016 I began working as an Educational Specialist and Facility Dog Handler at a local children's hospital. During this time, I have gained additional skills in advanced and secure software, medical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate and work independently with minimal oversight.
