Management of global technology development projectsThe role of chief engineer includes managing supplier and customer relationships, developing technologies together with customers and suppliers, managing global development projects, finding new suppliers and developing new technologies with them. Customer is located in Europe and our own activities happen in our factories in China.

Teaching material science. The work included lecturing, planning, making of educational materials, organizing excursion trips, organizing and arranging seminars and working as a coordinator.

Product quality management. Research and resolve root causes of product defects, customer relationships and implementation of their requirements, training, developing production environment, attribute Gage management, quality manual updates and SPC implementation into production.

The purpose of the project was to find out the possibilities to start a new educational program of composite and plastic technology. Other tasks were planning the program and marketing. I worked very closely with numerous companies in the plastic industry and educational organizations at the branch. Based on this work a new educational program started in autumn 2006.

The diploma thesis ”Development of inherently dissipative polyester fiber and fabric” was made in cooperation with the Institute of Fiber, Textile and Clothing Science, Tampere University of Technology. A new product was created. A scientific article was published in an international magazine.
