Led the quarterly forecasting process for the Operating Groups. Provided financial support for Executive, ITS, Equipment Management, Human Resources, and Risk Management functions. Most recent support represented approximately $73M of Selling, General and Administration expenses. Prepare various financial analyses as needed. • Partnered with leaders during the annual budget process to prepare reasonable budgets; lead monthly meetings to review expenses and revise forecast when necessary. Researched financial questions and calculated projected expenses.• Equipment Management support included financial oversight of eight equipment facilities with combined margin of $17.6M. Special projects included annual physical inventory coordination, preparing IRR’s on equipment purchases, and preparing financial analyses of types of equipment rented.• ITS support included preparing IRR’s and expense tracking tool for initiatives, preparing detailed analysis of software maintenance and computer purchase spending, and calculating rates to charge customers for use of ITS services. • Special projects included calculation of standard cost rates for team members, preparing benchmarking data, calculating financial metrics used to determine incentive compensation.

Responsible for all financial areas in the implementation of a new equipment management software system for eight equipment facilities across the US. • Participated in weekly meetings with Equipment Facility Managers and ITS to examine current process flows of equipment and related charges and determine the best way to facilitate each process using the new software.• Translated existing daily equipment rates into new daily/weekly/monthly rate structure to increase revenue. • Assisted outside consultant in preparing a training manual for 25 accountants to use when the system was implemented.• Answered all financial questions from seven Group Accounting Managers when the new system went live. Researched questions and made sure any resulting code changes were made correctly.
