About Anne-Mathilde Thierry

After several years working as a wildlife biologist, I transitionned to the management of research projects.Organized, efficient, rigorous, diplomat and highly adaptable, I am particularly interested in bringing my skills and knowledge to the management of projects that make sense and to the promotion of scientific research.Wildlife biologist by training, I have worked for 10 years on research and conservation projects about polar animals. My work experiences in France and abroad have allowed me to develop strong project management skills. I have been in charge of writing funding applications, designing research protocols, collecting biological and ecological data, analysing data, and communicating results through reports, research manuscripts, and conferences. I have conducted fieldwork in Antarctica and in the Arctic, participating in the hiring, training, and managing of personnel and students working in isolated conditions.I have also been involved, at work and for non-profit organisations, in the development of innovative ways to communicate about scientific research, like taking 50 French teenagers to Greenland to work on an ERASMUS+ science project, or organising the “Polar week” for >4000 students all over France.
