Management of a small start-up social enterprise business delivering Paediatric and Neuropsychology diagnostic services specialising in fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) and autism, and commencement as a NDIS funded therapy service provider.Key Responsibilities● Lead business development to enable long term profitability of business activities in both Perth and regional WA (Kimberly and Pilbara) and commence strategic planning for nationwide business expansion.● Project Manager for $3M Department of Health Drug and Alcohol Program grant to establish the FASD Diagnostic Services and Models of Care National Consortium.● Create clinical governance policies and operational procedures for WA-NDIS audit compliance and new NDIS registration and investigate ICT options for customer data and funds claiming.Key Achievements ● Established the FASD Diagnostic Services and Models of Care National Consortium.● Facilitated development of training materials and delivery of FASD diagnostic training clinics in Regional WA, SA, VIC, and TAS. ● Achieved NDIS registration for therapy services.

Pioneered the inaugural GSWA Clinical Services Manager role to lead the state-wide clinical genetics service through the transition from block funding to activity-based funding (ABF). Key Responsibilities● Shape the delivery of clinical genetics and genetic counselling services across WA to maintain high quality patient outcomes, service satisfaction, and operational efficiency in the context of substantially increasing demand for clinical services.● Conduct high quality data analysis and improve data management and reporting to establish sustainable financial planning strategy aligned with clinical activity performance.● Leadership of financial and human resources management ($5M budget, 30 staff)● Oversight of client database management and technology tendersAchievements● Applied high level business and strategic planning, and developed key business change strategies, to lead transformational change of the state-wide clinical service from block funding to Activity Based Funding.● Successfully established the Clinical Service Manager role and created additional FTE in the context of Health system-wide hiring freezes. ● Developed a future-oriented business plan for GSWA addressing workforce, technology, and clinical service design.
