Leads and manages all branch library managers and through them, oversees the operations of 13 distinct locations throughout the city of Milwaukee.

Provided vision, leadership, innovation and oversight for all public service functions including the Departments of Circulation, Adult & Digital Services, Youth & Family Services, and Outreach Services in four branches and bookmobile in a city of 100,000 people.-Created a sense of team by valuing individuals’ contributions, fostering trust and by creating a shared sense of vision-Established KPL’s inaugural Service Philosophy, setting the bar for staff expectations when working with our patrons-Developed a six-week, self-paced micro-learning module regarding customer service expectations-Coordinated ILS migration training for all public services staff -Initiated a staff IDEA Team (Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility Team) to reinforce KPL’s commitment to these ideals and to learn how to better serve everybody in our community-Began a Peer-Training program through which staff learn from each others’ expertise

-Managed the acquisition, licensing, description and access to individually subscribed continuing resources in all formats, redefining workflows as needed-Kept current with developments and changes to licensing, intellectual property, and copyright law, and served as the Library’s resource person for legal issues regarding resources owned by the Library, or resources that are accessible to the Library’s users-Provided reference services weekly at blended desk, where librarians work with the access services team to efficiently serve customers.-Taught library instruction sessions and developed collections for select departments-Supervised and mentored student library workers-Created a campus-wide, cross-functional Copyright Team-Co-Chaired the Library Space Usage Planning Team (SUP)-Co-Chaired the 2014 Big Read Team-Chaired the 2013 Big Read at UW-Parkside Library Team
