My first job out of college as an activities director at a nursing home ignited a passion within me to work with older adults. I have dedicated the last 20 years to serving seniors and people with disabilities. The three key things that make me tick at work are:Older Adults – I am dedicated to ensuring that they are valued, respected, and recognized as contributing members of society.Creativity – I thrive on thinking outside of the box and coming up with innovative ideas.Teamwork – I believe that collaboration with others is imperative to the success of any organization. As an advocate for residents living in long-term care settings, I am familiar with managing multiple projects simultaneously and in following projects through to completion while also balancing and prioritizing the dignity and respect of those I serve.Top five strengths from the CliftonStrengths assessment (former called StrengthsFinder):Empathy, Futuristic, Developer, Positivity, and Responsibility.
