Main responsibility was formulating new liquid flavours at benchtop level. Also assisted in the establishment of a new division handling essence extraction operations as an alternate source of raw material. The resulting extracts were used as either raw materials or finished flavour product for dairy products, beverages, seasonings and pharmaceuticals.

A hands-on internship involving training in raw material inspection, acceptance, chemical and microbiological analysis, and production supervision for both dairy products and fruit juice. The internship also included extensive training in HACCP, GMP, FDA, and ISO for dairy production.
