Helping Episcopal parishes navigate the search process using best practices to help find a rector who is the best fit for their congregation.

Consulted with the Diocesan Search and Transition Committee's on all aspects of the process for electing a new bishop.

Guided the Search Committee by providing resources and best practice processes to allow for an efficient and effective search. Have helped research and profile potential rector candidates. Recommended process timeline, communication strategies, parish profile formats, interview techniques and questions. Reached out to potential candidates in my own network to encourage entrance into the process and advertise the opening.

Worked with the Search Chair, Search Committee, Vestry and Bishop to help find the next rector for Ascension. Provided resources and helped facilitate the process to allow for an efficient and effective search. Helped them by providing interview training and questions, process time-line, tools for evaluating resumes, scheduling ideas for visits, tools for reference/background checks and helped facilitate the group so they came to consensus on one candidate at the end. Worked with vestry on writing the contract for, looking at budget for and on-boarding the new rector.

Led the congregation through the first year of transition after our rector of many years left. Hired interim rector, hired search consultant to help us in the process of finding a new rector. Was a member of and oversaw the selection of other members of the Search Committee to find a new rector. Worked with Interim Rector to handle various HR transitions and issues. Communicated regularly on search process and other church matters in writing and via town hall style meetings. Facilitated monthly vestry meetings and helped staff ensure the ongoing operations of the congregation. Met regularly with the Bishop to keep him informed of the health of Transfiguration and the progress of the search.

Responsibilities as a manager of a $19 million in deposits sized branch included: hiring/supervision of a staff of 7, making sure all banking regulations procedures were followed, marketing of banking products and motivating our staff as a sales team, I was a mortgage broker and held my Series 6 license to better be able to serve clients, maintained and strengthened client relationships, reached out to the community to forge new relationships and reach potential clients.

As Operations Officer for the downtown Tampa branch I supervised a staff of 8 tellers and 3 customer sales representatives. Responsibilities included making sure all policies and procedures were being followed and keeping employees informed of changes. I was in charge of loss/fraud prevention. I helped support sales staff by helping meet client needs. Kept all personnel files, wrote reviews, hired new staff and took care of disciplinary issues.
