A committed educator who prioritises individualized instruction, firmly believing that effective teaching revolves around catering to the specific needs of each child and implementing suitable methodologies to facilitate their progress.

As a well-rounded educator with nine years of experience, I have had a chance to teach a diverse group of students including those challenged by autism, learning disabilities, non-complaint behaviour and Down Syndrome, as well as children who functioned on and above grade level. I apply evidence based teaching and place students in their homogenous groups. Through my research studies, professional developments and experiences, I have gained in-depth in accommodating different styles of learners and incorporating effective methods to meet students’ unique needs. My passion for pedagogy is evident as I regularly conduct workshops for parents and professional development for colleagues in relation to early learning years. I have a strong understanding of the Early Learning Years Framework and the National Quality Standards, and have been applying them successfully. I am well versed in the National Australian Curriculum, and have studied and implemented the criteria, preparing the kindergarten students for the formal preprimary years. I encourage student learning by incorporating creative learning centres, various forms of technology, hands-on activities and fun manipulative. These methods prove successful as students are motivated to explore, experiment, enquire, and investigate, allowing them to grow socially, emotionally, physically and academically.
