I am currently a management information systems major interested in minoring in marketing and expecting to graduate from the Fox School of Business at Temple University in May 2024. Over the summer I got the opportunity to join the team of a web development and marketing company called Ironistic, where I am still currently working. I have gained some insight into web development and how to use certain software like WordPress. This was a much different experience than my role as a retail sales associate, where I learned most of my customer service and sales skills. I have joined two professional development organizations, the Association of Information Systems, and the Professional Sales Organization. In my sales organization, I am the membership chair where I help recruit new members and make sure everyone is in a comfortable environment. As well I have participated in sales competitions where I have been able to gain speaking skills and learn the 5-step sales process. While in AIS as a member I have begun learning from speakers in the real technology world and gain insight into different programming languages. In the future, I hope to keep gaining skills in the technology world hopefully to become a data analyst, consultant, or web designer. I will hopefully do this by finding internships to help teach me those skills and get real-world experience while applying what I have learned through my classes.
