Qualified with a PGDE Technical Studies at Strathclyde; previously worked as a Widening Participation tutor with Glasgow University and also worked as a level 3 tennis coach; a jeweller exhibiting and creating bespoke pieces of ‘heist’ jewellery; freelance lecturer in Rhino for jewellers; ex partner with John Lewis Partnership / Waitrose and an Architect for many years. 'heist', represents skills, stolen from my previous career, as an Architect, as an antithesis, or contrast, to challenge the ‘traditional’ and as my brand name. I derive satisfaction from interpreting my designs and fine tuning details by exploiting CAD and 3D printing technology, to allow detailed stone setting at the bench; creating interesting, edgy and covetable jewellery. I now make for pleasure, competitions and exhibitions.
