Specialized in memoir - I interviewed, transcribed and wrote personal histories for families. Whether marking a milestone celebration (birthday, anniversary) or writing a 'chapter' of one's life or a complete memoir, I edited and published heirloom books containng narrative, photos and geneological charts.I also published and marketed for general distribution Signs of Life; A Memoir of Dying and Discovery by Tim Brookes (see blog at http://signsoflifeamemoir.wordpress.com/) Canadian edition

Was in charge of membership recruitment and continuity wine subscription programs for Opimian, Canada's largest wine club. Achieved total membership of 20,000 at that time and increased wine sales by introducing two subscription programs Opimian select (a mixed trial assortment of wines from one country) and the Founder's Choice program which offered a personally selected high-end case of wine - best from a producer in honour of the founding of Opimian. I was an active participant in the International wine Clubs Association and represented Opimian at marketing conferences. I also had the opportunity to take a job exchange and provide marketing services to a Swiss Wine Club for their UK membership base.This position followed a role of Managing Editor for Tidings magazine which was distributed to the membership as well as general subscription.

Completed research and production for a television series "The Norwegian Way" broadcast during the 1994 Lillehammer Olympics in Norway. Worked with Host Lloyd Robertson and a production team of five. Also researched and wrote a 90-page manual about Norway for the use of CTV personnel in preparation for coverage of the Games.

Provided statistical analysis of imports, exports and re-exports of various gems originating from Burma (Myanmar), Thailand and Sri Lanka. I worked in the editorial department and copy-edited and proofread magazine content. I attended trade shows and fairs conducting interviews and writing reports and received weekly gemmology courses including De Beers diamond workshops .
