Team Chief and Instructor Pilot for foreign military contracts, providing pilot instruction in the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior. Responsible for development of programs of instruction for all phases of aircraft qualification and qualification of instructor pilots.

Performed duties as a commercial helicopter pilot flying the Airbus EC130. Conducted multiple flight tours daily, with a maximum of 7 passengers, in the area of Las Vegas, Nevada, the Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon National Park. Total hours flown 300.

Primarily responsible for ensuring the successful employment of all aerial weapons systems for four different aircraft platforms while units are temporarily assigned to the US Army's National Training Center at Fort Irwin, CA. Duties also include mentoring all rotational unit Aviation Master Gunners, and Standardization Instructor Pilots, and advising the command on the strengths and weaknesses of these positions. In addition, performed duties as an OH-58C Standardization Instructor Pilot conducting currency, qualification, and readiness evaluations for pilots organically assigned to the National Training Center and flew approximately 200 hours annually.

Primarily responsible for ensuring successful outcome of all Battalion level aerial gunneries in four different airframes. This was done through coaching, teaching, and mentoring of Battalion level Master Gunners within the Brigade. Reported directly to the Brigade Commander and was responsible for his aircraft readiness level and proficiency. Additionally, performed currency, readiness, and annual flight evaluations as a Standardization Instructor Pilot for all assigned OH-58D pilots, Instructor Pilots, and Standardization Instructor Pilots within the Brigade and the Division Commanding General who was an OH-58D pilot.

Served as the Senior Standardization Instructor Pilot in 7-17th Cavalry Squadron flying the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior with 110 assigned aviators, four Troop assigned Standardization Instructor Pilots, and six assigned Troop Instructor pilots. Primary responsibility was to ensure the readiness levels and annual proficiency and readiness testing of all assigned pilots through advising and mentoring of Troop level Instructor Pilots. Additionally, was responsible for ensuring adherence, by all assigned aviators, to FAA and Army Regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Technical Manuals, and all theater of operation aviation rules and procedures while deployed. Annually, instructed from 200-500 hours in the OH-58D. While deployed, served as the Task Force Standardization Instructor Pilot and had AH-64 and UH-60 pilots assigned to my unit for which I was responsible.

Performed duties as the Squadron (while stationed CONUS) and Task Force Master Gunner (while deployed with four different airframes assigned to the Task Force). I planned, trained, and executed all Squadron and Task Force level gunneries to ensure the aircraft currency and certification of all assigned pilots. This included OH-58D, and AH-64 Pilots, and UH-60 and CH-47 door gunners. While deployed personally built an aerial weapons range in Jalabad, Afghanistan, complete with hulk vehicles and hardened targets. Simultaneously, continued to fly daily missions (approximately 600 hours annually) and conduct flight evaluations on all assigned OH-58D pilots as a Standardization Instructor Pilot. Also planned, trained, executed and evaluated all door gunnery certifications and currency flights.

Primarily responsible for the readiness, currency and annual evaluations for the Troops 32 assigned OH-58D pilots. Conducted all flight evaluations, managed and maintained all flight records for all assigned pilots while deployed or not deployed. Also responsible for the training and certification of all Air Mission Commanders, Briefing Officers, and Mission Approval Authorities. Annually flew between 600-800 hours.

Primarily responsible for the readiness, currency and annual evaluations for the Troops 32 assigned OH-58D pilots. Conducted all flight evaluations, managed and maintained all flight records for all assigned pilots while located just 12 miles from the North Korean Border and No-fly line. Semi-annually flew approximately 200 hours.

Responsible for ensuring the successful training of all OH-58D student pilots assigned to the Training Company. Quarterly, Conducted training flights with 2-5 students flying approximately 3 hours daily. Completed all ground and flight instruction in the safe piloting operation of the Kiowa Warrior. Managed and maintained all assigned student flight records. Annually flew approximately 400 hours.

Initially assigned as an Instructor Pilot flying two students per day with a syllabus of 3 hours. Assisted in the classroom (ground) instruction of all assigned student pilots. Within one year selected as Flight Commander, and then responsible for planning, preparing and conducting all ground instruction classes for all assigned students. Daily activities included scheduling of students and aircraft assignments for 12 instructor pilots (9 military and 3 civilian) in my section. Scheduling leave for assigned instructor pilots and ensuring the successful completion or retrain of all assigned student pilots. Annually I flew approximately 400 hours.
