Project Manager for ISO14001.Project ManagementHewlett-Packard decided to be one of the first global manufacturing businesses to become ISO14001 certified. Initiated the site project team and was a key contributor to the establishment of the management system and written program. Lead the recent recertification of the system.Technical Program Management• The San Diego site Production and R&D efforts generates 200 tons of hazardous waste. Managed a $450K budget for disposal thru a contractor with three on-site technicians. Thru co-ordination with Production, the site was able to report a reduction in hazardous waste in the 2011 SB14 Reporting. Efforts continue and also include printer test areas and R&D chemical laboratories.• In support of ISO14001 implementation and continued improvement, authored documentation for air, water and waste programs.Technical Program Consulting• Hewlett-Packard acquired Electronic Data System and environmental services then came under the EHS department. Successfully assisted the Facility Project Manager in obtaining emergency generator permit and completion of California Hazardous Materials Technical Program Consulting Plan and Spill Release, Control and Countermeasure Plan for Cerritos site and annual reporting for other sites. • Hewlett-Packard decided to consolidate warehousing in California. Provided environmental review of Phase 1 assessment and commented on lease language.• Completed Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) certifications and completed Chemical Data Reporting/Inventory Update Rule data calculations. -

Remaining experience as a scientist for 5 years and engineering aide for 3 years.
