Based in the Upper North of South Australia, Anne has over 20 years’ experience working in varying capacities with livestock industry groups in the rangelands and upper north of South Australia, as well as involvement in state-wide and national projects.Her particular areas of interest are sheep breeding and genetics and the application of objective selection, precision animal management and technology adoption in the livestock sector. As a consultant she manages projects with a focus on improving productivity in extensive sheep and beef enterprises, delivers services for Sheep Genetics, including data collection and management and breeding program design and facilitates and delivers workshops. Anne has:• Experience in communication, engagement and extension service provision to the livestock industry• Experience in engagement with all sectors of the red meat supply chain• Strong regional, State and national industry networks• Accreditation as a Sheep Genetics service provider. Experience delivering RamSelect workshops for shedding and terminal breeds• Ten years’ experience as manager and part owner of a leading White Dorper stud, including managing all requirements for LAMBPLAN compliance• Considerable project management experience, including at the national level• Event organisation and management expertise• Experience in leading and facilitating teams• Well developed written communication skills, in particular for a primary producer audienceAnne is recognised for her broad range of experience in extensive livestock production, her ability to deliver high quality outcomes, and her personable, can-do attitude.
