Conduct due diligence on early stage investment opportunities with connections to UVA

Hired as the first full-time employee of a pre-revenue health-tech startup. Developed relationships with multiple potential investors, created presentations, set up and coordinated the company’s front and back office operations including payroll, taxes, social media accounts, and strategic relationship communications.• Created Pro Forma financial statements, budgets, and ROI forecasting tools from the ground up• Developed 3 types of pitch decks targeting medical researchers, potential investors, & other interested parties• Coordinated with legal team through licensing contract negotiations with Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures• Collaborated with founders on a strategic & operational business plan to launch the company’s initial pilots with Fortune 50 and Fortune 100 companies

In addition to my original responsibilities within Citco I joined a small team dedicated to testing and setting up an online trading system that would sync with our own investor portal which will reduce the manual workload of the investor relations role and automate much of the subscription process. Other responsibilities included:- Checking and releasing reports prepared by the admins to our clients- Main point of contact for clients - handle all queries from fund managers and investors with regards to reporting and trade processing- Train new staff on the team- Test new automated reports built specifically for our team on our internal system to ensure accuracy prior to releasing to clients

Within The Citco Group I worked in the fund services sector as an investor relations administrator. Shortly after beginning my role I was tasked with handling large scale corporate restructures for one of our biggest clients. My role included the following:- Field all calls/email queries from both hedge fund managers and investors alike- Run all standard/ad-hoc reporting for clients including, but not limited to liquidity, cash flows, Bluesky filings, AEOI, BPI/ERISA, etc.- Maintain our clients' share registers and process all investor trades and documentation- Ensure smooth completion of multiple large-scale corporate actions and restructures for one of our largest clients

The Global Good Fund is a leadership development enterprise built by and for social entrepreneurs. They find social enterprises around the globe and apply proven and proprietary tools to accelerate their growth and leadership development so they can enact different kinds of social change globally. As a Special Projects Intern, some of my responsibilities included:- Creation of Alumni Engagement Program: GGF runs a 15 month fellowship program. I created a pilot alumni program to keep the fellows engaged and giving back to add value to the new fellows coming through.- Pipeline Cleanup: going through our list of contacts and cleaning up our fundraising lists- Research companies and foundations aligned with our mission to establish contacts- Track Impact Investment Fund: This fund was created separately from GGF to pioneer social impact investing- Writing assignments- Other

Trained under Darius Gilbert to learn the correct teaching techniques for Kettlebell and ballistic training. I excelled as an assistant trainer and was given my own clients to train. I participated in business meetings, organized and ran new training camps, wrote marketing ads for DSP, and managed DSP’s social media.- Wrote training schedules and designed workouts for multiple clients - Interacted with athletes and parents to coordinate schedules for multiple clients while also remaining personable and accessible. - Advised clients on healthy eating and augmenting their physical and mental wellbeing at home. - Wrote ads and created flyers for new training camps- Contacted coaches of local sports teams to market our team training packages

Set up events and made sure the presentation of the food was appropriate. Served food while socially interacting with guests. Cleaned up after the events and made sure the venues were spotless by the time we left.

Tasked with combing through the Microsoft CRM database to update contacts and ensure none were duplicated. This required attention to detail as the CRM database is the company’s key marketing tool and mistakes are costly. I saved the company money by improving the accuracy of their marketing and eliminating waste due to duplication or records. - Became familiar with Microsoft CRM Database- Trusted with editing mailing lists that would directly affect the company’s profits- Worked efficiently to comb through thousands of contacts without missing small details- Researched companies that did not have complete contacts and updated contacts with valuable missing information in the CRM Database
