Company of Women is an organization that supports,connects and promotes women in business through its events, publications and website.In 2007, Company of Women launched a national magazine - Company - aimed at women in businessIn 2009 won Entrepreneur of the Year Award at Oakville Awards for Business ExcellenceIn October, 2009 honoured with the TIAW World of Difference Award - an international award presented to 57 women around the world who have actively impacted women's economic independence.

One Red Lipstick is a book and documentary that looks at the resiliency of women who no matter what is going on in their lives, put on their lipstick and carry on. In the book, which launched February 24 as an Amazon bestseller, 24 women share their stories and give advice to women in business on how to find success on their own terms. The documentary was launched in May, 2016.

Worked on the development of programs and services that enhance women's economic independence such career programs for youth; entrepreneurial programs and getting women into the skilled trades

Co-ordinated a program for teen mothers - TEAM, through which they worked on their high school diplomas with child care provided for their children

As a parent of a young baby, together with other parents, we formed the Oakville Parent-Child Centre, a non- profit organization that supported parents and children in the community.
