Lecturer in Marketing with a focus on Integrated Marketing Communications and Digital Media

As Chair of the Marketing Department at Langara's School of Management, recruited marketing instructors, managed student issues and complaints, oversaw course scheduling, curriculum review and external sponsorship opportunities. Was a member of the Division Chair's Management Committee that managed promotion, recruiting and represented the LSM to the business community.

As Associate Registrar, was responsible for: classroom scheduling for lectures, exams and non- academic activities; student transcript records; course registration; graduation credentials; Canadian and American government student loan administration.

As Director, SFA&A, was responsible for financial assistance, scholarship and bursary award administration and financial support initiatives for over 48,000 UBC students system wide. This included scholarships, bursaries and over 2200 award endowment accounts. Chaired UBC's Rhodes Scholarship Candidate Selection Committee.

As Director of Classroom Services, managed the planning of classrooms and audio visual equipment in new buildings and the renovation of existing classrooms to facilitate new teaching methods (e.g. the 'flipped classroom' and 'experiential learning'). Oversaw classroom scheduling for lectures, exams and non-academic activities. Managed a team of 25 in the Audio Visual Department.

Worked with the Vice President of Students on matters requiring Board of Governor approval (student fee and tuition changes, student government business, reports and updates). Liased with the Alma Mater Society (AMS) to manage UBC's interest in the Student Union building and later on a two person team that negotiated the land lease that enabled the AMS to construct the new AMS nest, an $80 million project, on a prime Student Union Boulevard site. Chair, Aquatic Centre Advisory Committee, 2007-2010. The Committee ensured stakeholders interests were considered as UBC Athletics assumed responsibility of the Aquatic Centre.

Oversaw all aspects of the full time and part time MBA (Vancouver), and International MBA (Shanghai, China) including marketing and recruiting, admissions, international exchange program, student services and non-academic professional development programming.
