I’m a proud Scripps and Stripe alum who strives to identify and advocate for the feminist solution to any problem, and will make a color-coded spreadsheet with (potentially excessive amounts of) data to back it up. I started working in tech because the industry and the products amaze me, but I think they can be made even better when more perspectives are included in the creation. Throughout my work, I learned from and alongside engineers, recruiters, and business specialists; with managers, ICs, and executives; and people with many intersecting identities and backgrounds. We pushed each other to empathize with our users and to try out new ideas. We got comfortable being uncomfortable. And we produced the best work when we combined suggestions and centered marginalized voices. I will always pursue opportunities to continue learning, to stay uncomfortable, and to prioritize dismantling systems of oppression.Right now, I'm a people operations consultant through my LLC, aedHR. If you want support creating people-centered workplaces, please reach out: aedhr.com.
